For less that what we would spend going to a local restaurant, we get 2 meals that feed 4 people once a week. The ingredients are fresh and sustainable and the recipes are new and unique (rather unlike my recipe box that has tried and true favorites, but that have been made and eaten a hundred times). And although the recipe says it feeds 4, the dishes can actually feed 5 (we've invited my parents over a couple of times to share our meals with us and there was more than enough for everyone, especially if I added another veggie side dish that complimented the recipe), which leaves The Hubs and I enough for leftover lunches the next day.
I'm grateful that The Monk eats his veggies and that he's willing to try new things, so there haven't been many times where he didn't want to eat what was on the menu and if he doesn't want one particular thing (think salmon), then it isn't anything for me to pop a chicken breast in the oven to go with everything else that is in the meal.
My only little suggestions would be that there be a gluten-free option to their meals (we aren't gluten-free, but my mother is and I know that there are a TON of others who are as well), and that, as a welcome to new subscribers, there was a cool blue apron that was included in the first order. Just because that would be cool. Just saying. Otherwise, we love getting our weekly box of yummy goodness on our doorstep every week and we love the meals that have thus far come to us. Blue Apron is an awesome way of eating out while staying in.
