However, I have come to terms with the learning charts being hung where every guest and visitor can see them, proudly on display. The reason being is that my son sees them...all the time. We talk about them and use them - just as I used the anchor charts in my public school classroom, and it does give visitors evidence that we are doing exactly as we set out to do...homeschooling our son.
Granted, this part of math is easy, so it's nothing for me to whip up some anchor charts that are cute, with little characters and symbols. But, in a few years, we're going to get to the more difficult stuff...things I either failed in high school or never even took (algebra, calculus, trig). I can probably get through long division and maybe some VERY basic fractions...after that...well...we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
